I am thankful for the five cups of coffee I had today, because running off an hour and a half of sleep just doesn't cut it.
I'm not exaggerating when I say five cups of coffee.
I couldn't fall asleep last night, I was still restless with all that has been on my mind. I went to sleep at 4am and woke up at 530am to start my day.
Went to work with my dad, had two cups of coffee there, and studied for my Human Sexuality test that is tomorrow. Took a cup of coffee on my walk from downtown to the east side of Benton. Visited Mark and Mo for a bit, and Mark bought me coffee from Caffino's, the giant size, which was like two cups of coffee. Then Mark took me to my costume fitting in the costume shop.
I did my front walkover in my Munchkin Maiden costume, with all the petticoats and pantaloons and skirts. It was fun, and more importantly, possible to do on stage, which is good. That costume I believe is finished, except for adding the yellow collar. Then I tried on my Nikko costume and found out I have rings to wear that are attached by chord to the wings, and by pulling my arms down, I can make them flap!!! I was so impressed and so excited when I discovered this.
I ended up working in the costume shop for four hours today. Really good for me, because I had about half of the lab hours I needed for the show. I think I have less than two more hours to complete. Good thing people fed me while I was there; that much coffee with no food in my belly was pretty bad.
I need to buy my makeup kit and essentials by rehearsal Wednesday night. How am I going to do that?! Luckily I do get paid Thursday. My first paycheck in months! I am so happy to have it, but it'll go away quickly. I need to pay my phone bill, get clothes for work, and figure out Christmas presents. Oh dear. I do have two paychecks after this one before Christmas, but that's not too reassuring.
I should also kindof start looking into material for Grease auditions. And eventually SRT too! I would love to do the Pit for SRT, but this summer they're doing the Full Monty and, more importantly, PETER PAN! That is my dream role, to get cast as Peter...that would be amazing. Goal, right there.
I should go to bed, I have a test tomorrow, but first and foremost...
MY FIRST FLYING REHEARSAL!
Hooray!
