It was so nice to visit my second home today. Almost a year between visits is more than I can stand. I was planning on seeing Hilary, but our timing didn't work out, and Laura was busy, too. We were only in Monterey for a short while; my dad's film underwater camera [that is a good 30 years old] was jammed, and my dad didn't want to ruin the film [from Maui, about 4 years old] so he took it to his old friend that has a shop on Cannery Row. I love Cannery Row. I love being around water people and boat people. That makes me feel more at home than actually being in my own bedroom. We left Monterey and my dad suggested we stop in Santa Cruz for dinner, and then I remembered two of my favorite boys who live there. I called both James and Andre, but unfortunately James' phone was in the other room. I ended up stopping by HBG after bomb Thai food to see Andre for a whole 7ish minutes. I'm going to try to go down there again for Spring Break this semester. I'll stay there most of the time, and then the second weekend of break I'll go to Redding with Alix, Ethan, and Shane for the benefit show.
On call tomorrow. I need to take some things to Plato's closet, so I can pay for my fencing mask and sabre. I have a little more homework to finish tomorrow, and then another week of school starts.
I sent in my Cottey application today. Finally. I was excited about it all day.
And 20 minutes ago in the shower I realized under my "Extracurricular Activities" statement I didn't put Wizard of Oz. Whatthefuck. I feel retarded now. Damnit.
Last night Alix and I bonded over rum-mai tais and vanilla cigars. The whole night was an overall success, even though we didn't end up going hot tubbing.
