I'm not even kidding.
Today is going to be a great day.
Patty [my new violin student's mother] ended up not being able to meet with me today. I was okay with that because the walk to the bus stop would be awful; there was a mini-hurricane in my neighborhood! I was on the phone with Kelsey when the loud thunderclap hit and I screamed. It was actually pretty funny afterward. The thunder was so loud it set off two different car alarms. Creepy, but kindof cool?
I got a SECOND callback today from Lori. I'm going in at 730. Ahh! Nervous! But a 2nd callback is really good in my book. But I guess we won't know until tomorrow.
I have my first day of Anthropology tomorrow at 730am. I'm excited. It'll be nice to have an early class, as much as I hate the mornings. Erin, Andi, AND Alix are in that class with me. I'm glad for that.
My black leather boots finally came in the mail today!
One sign I knew today was going to be nice was I was downstairs doing homework, and I look out the sliding glass door, and behind my backyard fence was the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen. I know it is physically impossible for a rainbow to have an ending because it is just the reflection of light on the water droplets, but there it was. And I immediately thought of my mom. Like she was somehow sending me a happy sign. If there was pixie dust around, I really would be flying; so many happy thoughts.
I'm just in such a good mood.
Off to finish homework for Political Science and then callbacks!
