Week one, almost done.
Finally got into my English, Sabre, and Orchestra classes [not that there was difficulty with Orchestra]. Now I just have to check the computer multiple times a day to get into my Math and Political Science classes. I WILL GET IN! Haha, I am determined. I'm also working on my application for Cottey, and my personal statement to go with it. Taryn emailed me [that wonderful lady] and from what I'm understanding, my JC credits will count towards an SAT score. YES! I was stressing that I was going to have to take it. [Yuck!] I am going to kick ass with this application and have it in before P.E.O. scholarships. I will get scholarships! I'm determined! But if I don't get in, it won't be the end of the world. If anything, I'll have achieved in just putting myself out there, and I will just work 100% harder.
Oh, and Grease? Well, I'm feeling a little screwed, but I'll make it happen. Sarah and I watched Grease last night, and we were imagining how it would look on stage and who would make a good Sandy and Danny. I want to be Frenchie! Not only would it be fun, but in a non-bias way, I think I would be a good candidate for the role. Not too big, but bigger than ensemble.
Sometime next week, I will have my very own, very new, beautiful fencing mask AND sabre!
This weekend is all about auditions and finishing my application.
Depending on how Sunday pans out, next week I may or may not look for a second job.
Except for classes being crowded, school is going really well. Tomorrow I'll make a counselor appointment at school for hopefully Friday.
I'm crossing my fingers and keeping a smile on my face.
